Opportunity Neglected
There were floods in the small city of k12. Person Z went up to the roof of his house so that he takes shelter. He stayed there waiting for God to help him.
A speedboat came to pick him up, person Z refused to board onto it and it left. A 2nd boat which had space for one came with persons J,K,L and offered to give him a lift to a safe location. Z declined the help and opted to wait for God to help him. Finally, Z so a bright light from the sky and knew God had definitely come to save him. It was a helicopter. Z stayed rooted to the roof of his sinking house and told the pilot in the chopper to go as he was still waiting for God to save him.

Z went to heaven and asked God why he did not save him and God showed him all the modes of transport he sent to take him to safer grounds but he did not use any.
As we pray for opportunities, be wise as you decide which opportunity to pursue because if you neglect an opportunity because you think it’s not to your standards, you will not only lead a miserable life but also a life full of regret.
Be wise and take that opportunity.
